Material ConneXion, founded in 1997 by the visionary George Beylarian, moved its world headquarters in 2008 to 60 Madison Avenue, New York. The company centers around a "library" for innovative physical materials, fabricated across the globe. The new spaces, designed by Imrey Culbert, transform previous ways of working. The key is a porous, axial double-sized Conference Center that can open up and connect or close down and separate the two other main programs of this institution: the Materials

Library and the Exhibition Area. The Conference Center design allows the company to host large events that flow through all main spaces, while functioning as a fully private space in the day-to-day operations.

The offices feature a full gamut of sustainable innovative materials, including new products from the following companies: Corian, Cassina, Erco, Boffi, Panelite, Halo Doors, Haworth, and Alpolic.
