Wherever you are, you can see everything.
In the spirit of the "tuxedo" era of the 1910's-1930's, this world-class exhibition features René Lalique's vast array of luxury objects in glass and especially mold-blown glass: from perfume bottles, automobile mascots, and vases, to mirrors, lighting and figurines, they testify to a time of immense wealth and decadence in American history. On the other hand the objects, made in multiples, permitted public access to aristocrat-quality glass. The show's architectural design embodies the double theme of elegance and mass production. Perimeter walls angle around a central octagon of column cases all in a monochrome palette. The visitor is empowered with total visual access to the full roster.
