Imrey Studio was invited by Kobbite and Giudice Architecture to be the museographer for the international competition for the National Museum of Archeology and Earth Sciences. The competition, organized, run, and submitted in French, involved the designs for a place to celebrate Morocco's unique heritage of the natural world and early peoples. Imrey Studio provided Design Assist to co-design the overall building shape and layout as well as the museography of the displays. The rough-hewn stone donut-shaped building was designed from the inside out. The required chronology for the visitor journey formed a natural loop around an interior-focused courtyard garden. Morocco is famous for its magnificent geodes; the building's fundamental organization employing a rough outside and gem-like inside follows the logic of a geode.
